Denry Okpor – Ventures

Building businesses since 2013

Denry Okpor is a UK-based serial entrepreneur, author, actor and property investor. Since 2013 he has founded 12 UK companies across hospitality, beauty, construction and property, taking ideas from a blank page to trading businesses with customers, staff and suppliers.

His approach is hands-on: he designs the concept, builds the operation and puts the systems in place so each business can run without him in the room. That experience, from fit-out and licensing to hiring and cash flow, is what he shares in his book Launch Your Venue.

Sips Nail Spa & Bar · Sips Venture Group

Denry founded Sips Nail Spa & Bar, a venue concept that combines nail spa treatments with a cocktail bar, under the Sips Venture Group. He designed, built and ran Sips venues in Stratford, Mayfair and Croydon, doing much of the construction work himself, and built the brand, the team and the guest experience from the ground up.

DAD Building Service Ltd · Construction

DAD Building Service Ltd is Denry's construction business. It draws on the same practical building and fit-out skills he used to create the Sips venues, delivering construction work across the UK.

Property investment

Alongside his operating businesses, Denry is a property investor with a UK portfolio. Property gives him a long-term, steady counterweight to the faster pace of hospitality and beauty.

Author · Launch Your Venue

In October 2026 Denry published Launch Your Venue: The Step-by-Step Playbook for Opening a Salon, Café or Bar in the UK, a 26-week plan from idea to opening night based on what he learned building his own venues.

Actor

On screen, Denry played Uncle K in the 2013 London crime drama short Squeeze. More about Denry's acting.
